Description
Rolling the beef together when forming your meatballs can compress it and make it tough to chew. To avoid this, mix your meat gently and use a scoop (an ice cream scoop works great!) to create the balls.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°. In a large bowl, thoroughly combine all ingredients. Shape into 1-1/2-in. balls. Place in a single layer on greased tray in air-fryer basket. Working in batches; cook until lightly browned and cooked through, 8-10 minutes.
