- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 irish sausages (or other pork sausage)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef or ham stock
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add potatoes; cook 20-25 minutes or until tender. Drain; let sit 5 minutes. Break potatoes up with a masher. Add butter, milk, salt and pepper; mash until potatoes are creamy and fluffy.
