Grilled Sirloin Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 beef top sirloin steak (about 3 pounds and 2 inches thick)

Directions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the first seven ingredients; add beef and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain and discard the marinade. Prepare grill for indirect heat. Grill, covered, over indirect medium heat or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°).
