A fun twist on French toast, cooked in a waffle iron for crispy edges and a soft, eggy center. Perfect with syrup or fruit.
Ingredients
- 1 cup pancake/waffle mix
- 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 cup cold milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat waffle iron. In a large mixing bowl, combine waffle mix, sugar and cinnamon. Stir in milk, eggs and vanilla extract.
- Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot.
