Fish with Tahini Sauce

Description

Pan-seared or baked fish served with a creamy, nutty tahini sauce. A Middle Eastern-inspired dish that’s rich in flavor and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds catfish fillets 1/3 cup tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a baking dish and arrange the catfish in a single layer.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven until the fish flakes easily with a fork, 45 to 60 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, whisk together the tahini, garlic, water, and lemon juice; season with salt. Once the fish is done, cut it into 1 inch cubes, and pour the tahini sauce overtop. Sprinkle with parsley to garnish.
